QUICK FIX: SANDWICH TOAST

IMG_20170131_145732

I am one of those people who struggle eating bread, so the best way is to play around with it. Sandwiches are my favourite bread game. This could just be the simplest recipe that could have ever existed. It is great for breakfast, snacking and for bachelors, it could stand in for a meal.

INGREDIENTS

Onion rings

Tomato strips or rings

Capsicum strips

Salt

Margarine

Whisked egg.

PREPARATION

Spread margarine sparingly on both sides of the bread slices. Place a slice each, on both sides of a sandwich maker.

Smear the upper side with whisked egg. Spread your onions, tomatoes and capsicum on top and sprinkle a pinch of salt.

Spread margarine on another slice and place on top to cover your ingredients. Now let your bread toast for a minute or two. If you want a wet feel, a minute will do. I like the brownish crunchy toast so I leave it in for an extra minute.

Serve with tea or a glass of fresh juice.
